We are a dynamic and customer-oriented company focused mainly on research and development of products and services in the field of energy consumption and production management or efficiency improvement in industry, services and other sectors.
Our vision is to continue with the implementation of the latest knowledge and experience in the field of introduction of modern technologies.
Our main goal is still the creation of projects and solutions that represent quality and uniqueness. Maximising added value for the customer and emphasising the effectiveness of implemented solutions are key benefits of our projects and services provided.
Implemented investment projects and the history of our company’s development confirm that today we can be considered pioneers in the application of innovative technologies, solutions and services.

We perceive our social responsibility and, as a successful company, we support the meaningful activities of various organisations as well as individuals. Every year, we spend considerable resources on the development or arrangement of sports, artistic or public benefit activities in the region where we operate.
History
1998
HAKO, s. r. o. (Ltd.) was founded.
1998 - 2005 / Implementation of telecommunications construction
During this period of time, we carried out thousands of telecommunication networks. We cooperated with most of telecommunication operators providing them with complex and unique solutions.
Our activities consisted of site selection, design, project documentation, complex construction and commissioning. Our satisfied customers are ORANGE, Telefónica O2, Slovak Telecom, Alcatel - Lucent, Huawei, Swan, Energotel, O2, Corinex, Nuclear Power Plant Mochovce, Vissim and many others. We are still working with many of them.
2005 / Activities extended by construction of industrial units
In 2005, we expanded our range to include the comprehensive construction of industrial units. The range of activities included a full range of services from the identification of needs, design, site acquisition, to the complete construction of the entire plant.
2008
Transformation into public limited company HAKO, a. s.
2010 / Activities extended by energetics and RES
Over a period of years 2010 - 2012, when the "boom" in the development of renewable energy projects broke out in Slovakia, we were one of the largest companies to provide design and construction. We are still active in the area of renewable energy resources.
Our activities include the comprehensive implementation of the construction of renewable energy sources, primarily photovoltaic power plants, supplemented by maintenance and administrative support in the field of legislation.
At the same time, we have expanded our activities to include the RES monitoring to ensure its more efficient use and eliminate outages of its production.
2015 / HAKO, a. s . as Research and development organisation
We have expanded our activities in the field of energy to include research and development of technologies and equipment in terms of remote reading, informative reading of numerical data recorded on meters, and the development of meters for measuring traction energy.
We have developed our own intelligent measurement system IMS NOETiC i4.0 and are currently focusing on the development of system support modules. The modules aim at processes and activities in the field of remote reading; process regulation, especially for RES and local distribution companies; energy management; monitoring the effectiveness of machines and equipment; and measuring the performance of the workforce.
